About
Hi, I’m Ivy.
I’m here to help you understand the patterns shaping your life and relationships, let go of what no longer fits, and move toward more intentional ways of living and connecting.

I’m a bilingual therapist based in Washington State, offering therapy in English and Mandarin Chinese. I work with adults and couples around relationships, attachment, anxiety, life transitions, and the ways past experiences continue to shape how we relate to ourselves and others.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years working in audit and financial advisory. That experience taught me a lot about responsibility, pressure, decision-making, and the ways people can become disconnected from themselves while trying to meet expectations.
My own career transition deepened my appreciation for the courage it takes to question what no longer fits and move toward a life that feels more intentional and aligned. That perspective continues to shape how I work with clients navigating change, uncertainty, relationships, and identity.
My approach is warm, collaborative, relational, curious, nonjudgmental, and active. I see therapy as a collaborative process where we slow things down, make sense of what is happening, and explore what feels most meaningful and workable for you. I may offer reflection, structure, psychoeducation, practical tools, and gently name patterns that seem important.

How I work
Curious, grounded, and engaged
My work is trauma-informed, relational, and systemic. Depending on your needs, our work may integrate EMDR, Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Bowen Family Systems Theory. These approaches help us attend to emotional experience, recurring patterns, family context, and the connections between past and present.
I bring a cross-cultural perspective and openness to different identities, cultural experiences, and relationship structures. Together, we can slow down, understand what your patterns may have been protecting, and explore whether they still serve the life and relationships you want today.
A grounded next step
Greater self-understanding can open the door to more choice.
I’m here to support you in building deeper understanding, greater self-trust, and more fulfilling relationships.
